H&M Malaysia - Shop til you drop!

As most of us know already, the high-street brand H&M is opening in Malaysia in September but ladies, have I got some breaking news here. H&M is not only opening ONE outlet, but TWO within these next few months!

The first H&M store will be opened within the Golden Triangle, Lot10 and spreads across around 36,000 square feet and spanning three levels of prime retail space. I swear, that it is huge! Anticipate the opening for this outlet on the 22nd September 2012.

But, I have another news for those who don't live in the city or rarely drive into the city due to traffic congestion - H&M is opening in Setia City Mall in Autumn 2012 too!

EXCITED? I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE!

I'm glad that the H&M website for Malaysia is launched before the store opening. There are few interesting platforms like "In Store Now", "H&M Life", and "Dressing Room".

H&M Life is like a mini blog features news, trend, look-book, ways to wear it, video and many more.

I'm a person who likes to see "What's In Now" to check out the hottest trend in town!

Style : Like Zara and Topshop
Price : Affordable
Quality : Good
Range : Wide
Trend : Fast Forward

H&M is not just an ordinary brand, they have collaborated with Lanvin, Marni and Anna Dello Russo. Also, the singer Lana De Rey is recently the face of H&M!

Style. Quality. Price. We must GO FOR IT! :)

Last Summer

TELUK BATIK

Somewhere in the middle of my last summer holiday, I got the chance to visit the place for real with my friends.

The road that leads to the beach in Teluk Batik.

The beach is located in between Sitiawan and Lumut, and it took us about thirty-minute drive from Sitiawan to reach there. Along the way, they were plenty of coconut trees with their leaves gently swaying in the breeze from the sea. The road is winding at times, but not too narrow as the road along Batu Feringghi in Penang.

At one point, we passed by Marina Waterpark, a small water theme park which faces the sea.

Those dolphins on the left were welcoming the visitors.

We didn't visit the dolphins though. Not long after that, we arrived at the beach.

Unlike other more well-known beaches in the country., the coastline of Teluk Batik is not that long. The water may not as crystal clear as what you get in Pulau Redang or Sipadan, nevertheless, it is still very much better than most places in the country. The beach is not bad either, with clear and golden sandy beaches surrounded by hills and forest reserves. It is perfect gateway for holidays, family day outing, or just for people who are looking for a place to relax themselves.

Coconut tree by the coastline.

The army base is at the far background.

However there is one thing that visitors ought to pay attention when they visit this place. There are monkeys there which are brave enough to go near the visitors and steal things from them. One daring monkey went to search inside's someone bag and it took away a plastic bag when the owner was sitting right in front of the back, when she was looking away from her stuff. After it got that plastic bag, the monkey climbed up a coconut tree immediately with the plastic bag intact. We saw that in front of our eyes.

That poor lady shouted at the monkey, but the monkey just smiled at her while make that annoying "ngek ngek ngek" sound. We overheard her and got to know that plastic bag contained some body syampoo. Poor monkey must have thought it had managed to steal some food, only to find out that it was just some liquid to wash its body. Only if the monkey knows how to wash itself, that is.

We spent some time there sitting under the shades of the coconut trees and had some short chats. The cooling sea breeze was something that gave us that relaxing feeling.

It was time for us to leave the beach to head Lumut after spending two hours there. However, there is something which I feel something is not right here. Only if the local council do a better job in promoting the place, I am sure that Teluk Batik can turn into one of the main tourist spot in the country. Our beach, mountains, highlands, sea, lakes, national parks are among the best in the world, just too bad that they are often overlooked because of poor managements and promotion efforts are still not sufficient.

Teluk Batik is an example. There are totally no public transportation for visitors who come without their own vehicle. Hence, it is almost impossible to gain access to the place unless you own a car of something like that.

But still I had a good perfect time with all my friends. We should do our next trip together again like this. Singapore, perhaps? :)

Love, Happiness, Intelligence

Our psychological state allows us to see only what we want/ need/ feel to see at a particular time. What are the first three words that you see?

AZURYNA sees Love, Happiness, Intelligence. (':

From the Bottom of My Heart

What matters most to you?

Well, everyone must have their own important things and people that they love.
For me, family is the most important thing in my life.

What do you think of when you say the word family? Yeah some of our families may be dysfunctional at times and yes we all fight with each other and say things that we most likely don't mean. The thing is friends come and go. Girlfriends or boyfriends seem interchangeable at times. Your family though will never stop loving you, no matter what they say. Parents want you to do the best you can but understand when you don't. Apologies are always meaningful because you truly mean it when you say them to your family. You may think that all your apologies are sincere but let's be real, some people you could give a shit less about and are only saying it because you were forced to.

Parents are their to provide for you, siblings are there for words of wisdom or just an ear to listen to you. Even your family cat or whatever pet you have is there to comfort you. Mom's are there to make you food, hassle you about simple things and do basically everything else for you. Dad's are there to protect his daughters from bad guys and to toughen up his sons and make them into a man. Older siblings are like role models, always wanting to be as cool as them and mock their every action at times. Younger siblings are there to become your best friends when your grow up.

We all need friends, I'm not saying that we don't. I'm saying that family is the concrete of love. They make you into the person you are. Life lessons are taught all of the time from your parents, even if we don't want to hear them. Just listen though because they have been there before, they know how it is to be in a bad relationship, they know how it is to have a friend that betrays you. Brothers and sisters will always be there for us no matter what.

So today maybe you can just call everyone in your immediate family and tell them thanks and that you love them. Tell your parents thanks for being there when you weren't in a good frame of mind because we have all had those moments. Just know family is the most important thing, they will always love you through thick and thin. <3

New Beginning

Hello everyone!
So, this is my very first topic on my blog! I am gonna tell you guys all about my campus life and my first week as a new degree student. Excited at the same time to tell ya'll! :')

Universiti Selangor or known as 'UNISEL'. Yes, that is the name of my university. I had done for my diploma also in there. So, since I graduated in UNISEL, I decided to continue my degree in the same university.

"Kringggg kringggg!" My alarm clock ringing. I saw the date, 28th July 2012. It's the date that I have to register myself in UNISEL. I still remember, I'm wearing a pink baju kurung that day and accompanying by my mother and brother. When I entered the main hall that day, all of my lecturers are smiling at me and they are very welcome having me as their student back! =D I feel so blessed and that day was going well and smoothly. Alhamdulillah.

A week after the orientation, students have to attend the class normally. "Good news!", my friend shouted at me. She said we don't have to attend the class until a week after raya! OMG can you feel the exciting that time? Lol. But sadly, I have to go to campus no matter what to settle down all my things such as about loan, credit transfer and many more. But it all settled down and I feel relieved after that.

So here I am now in my very first class. Occupational English by Madam Uzaimah. :') I hope this semester goes well, insyaAllah. Till we meet again in my next chapter about my campus life!

Xoxo.
